No problem. I'm pretty much broke at the moment (just bought a house last week), so I'm not really in a hurry to buy more car toys. Newt, are you going with an engine management system, or are you upgrading your injectors to get rid of the JR relay?
I've already got the MAP converter so the relay is gone. I'm considering going to 8psi.
I'm probably not going to go to a standalone any time soon. I know it doesn't sound smart but we have a little more room for error at a mile high than the sea level boys. Plus an 8psi pulley is only going to make about 6.5 psi because of the thin air, so it's not a whole lot more boost than the stock kit makes. I'm only getting 4.5 - 4.8 psi right now.
Congrats on the house. Is it your first one? It feels good when you close on your first house.
Well I'm at 8psi, and I see 6.5 , maybe 7 in the mid range. I'm trying to go to 9 or even 10 psi, but I'm going to add hondata + water injection to run 10, so when I run SCCA events out of this cloud city, it doesn't get too hot.
I'll have to pass for now. That sucks too, because I'll eventually be buying all that stuff anyway, but with vacation coming up I can't spend the money.
If you don't do the standalone for a couple of months then I can definitely do it, but if you're looking at the next couple of weeks, I can't.
